Horimiya

Horimiya.

It's one of my favorite anime—the favorite among all the romance animes perhaps. The plot is unsophisticated and simple, which is why I love this anime.

The series depicts the ordinary school life of quiet Miyamura and bright Hori. Outside of the school, however, their personalities are quite different: Miyamura is a charming boy with tattoos and piercing (in adequate amount), which he hides at school; Hori is a chummy girl who likes spending time with her close friends. A minor accident crosses their paths and so the story of their love begins.

The story mostly pictures tiny yet lovely moments between the two, which I find really comforting; there is no emotional roller coaster like in some other romances.
